Edward W. Maibach MPH, PhD

Dr. Edward Maibach is a University Professor and Director of Mason’s Center for Climate Change Communication (4C). For the past decade, his research has focused exclusively on studying public understanding of and engagement in climate change, and developing and evaluating approaches to enhancing public understanding and public engagement. Edward Maibach From 2011 to 2014, Dr. Maibach was a member of the National Climate Assessment Development and Advisory Committee that produced the 3rd National Climate Assessment (2014), and he co-chaired the committee's Engagement & Communication Working Group. In 2018, Dr. Maibach was appointed a Fellow of the American Association for the Advancement of Science.
