Eben A. Carroll MD

Eben A. Carroll is a professor of orthopedics at Wake Forest School of Medicine. He serves the institution as the director of the orthopedic trauma service, the director of the orthopedic trauma fellowship as well as medical director of inpatient orthopedics. He is a nationally recognized leader in the field of orthopedic trauma.

He serves on several national committees including the educational committee for the orthopedic trauma association and the community development committee for AO North America. He is a committed educator and clinician, and also a well-respected researcher, and has brought in substantial grant funding to the institution through this work. He is the author of over 50 peer-reviewed publications and has given more than 150 talks nationally and internationally on a variety of topics related to orthopedic trauma.
