Dirk-jan Slebos MD, PhD

Dirk-Jan Slebos is Head, of Pulmonary Medicine, and Tuberculosis at University Medical Center Groningen/NL and Professor of Interventional Pulmonology. He has extensive experience in interventional bronchoscopy and has his main clinical and research focus on the development of innovative bronchoscopic treatments for patients with COPD. He leads the UMC -Groningen bronchoscopic intervention program, a high volume program with over 500 tertiary patient referrals annually, with annual 100 lung volume reduction procedures performed, using a number of different techniques and devices.
