Dr. Ebert is currently Professor at University Basel. He has received PhD degree from University of Basel/Switzerland. His main interest are rapid evolutionary processes such as host-parasite and host-mutualist evolution and coevolution, local adaptation and evolution in changing enviroments. Other interests are the evolution of sex and the evolution of the microbiome.
