Diane M. Novy PhD

Diane M. Novy, Ph.D. is a psychologist who has specialized in pain psychology. For the past 27 years, She has devoted her clinical practice to the treatment of patients with chronic and cancer-related pain. She utilizes treatment modalities from behavioral therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, and acceptance and commitment therapy, her clinical and research interests have included depression and anxiety which often occur in patients with pain. She also interested in pain outcome research and pain assessment research. She has been involved in the training of pain physicians and pain psychologists throughout my career.
