Devyani Lal MD

Devyani Lal, M.D., is Professor of Otolaryngology at Mayo College of Medicine and Science with a joint appointment in Neurological Surgery. She is Division Chair of Rhinology. Dr. Lal serves as Dean of Education at Mayo Clinic in Arizona and on the Executive Operations Team.

Dr. Lal has over 150 scientific publications. She is co-editor of the book, "Frontal Sinus Surgery," and Associate Editor of Cumming's Otolaryngology, Head & Neck Surgery, 8th Edition. She is an editorial board member of the International Forum for Allergy and Rhinology and Associate Editor of the American Journal of Rhinology and Allergy. Dr. Lal has co-authored the International Consensus Statement on Allergy and Rhinology: Sinonasal tumors 2023. Dr. Lal is chair of the Rhinology and Allergy Education Committee of the American Academy of Otolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery, Chair of the Women in Rhinology Section of the American Rhinologic Society, and President of the Association of American Otolaryngologists of Indian Heritage.
