Desmer Destang DDS, MSc, MBA

Dr. Desmer Destang is a dual-qualified physician who has spent the last 25 years aesthetically enhancing her patients. Her original specialty is in the field of orthodontics and dentofacial orthopedics. The last 10 years of her career have focused on the emerging and exciting field of Aesthetic Medicine and Aesthetic Dermatology. She attained US Board Certification with the AAAM in 2008 and has since been dedicated to scientifically advancing the field. Dr. Destang has received international recognition for her excellence in facial rejuvenation and aesthetic dermatology, especially with skin of color. 

Destang dealings with multiple ethnicities, extensive clinical research, and depth of knowledge in skincare product formulations have also led to her spearheading projects such as the development of medical skincare lines and chemical peels effective on all skin colors. Dr. Destang also assists other physicians in the training and education of their staff and also assists them in developing their own customized skincare lines. Her topic of special interest has been in the area of medical micro-needling and mandelic acid peels, specifically for ethnic and mixed races. Her clinical research is published in the American Journal of Aesthetic Medicine, her clinic has been featured on the exclusive Aesthetic TV for its outstanding work, and she is also a guest speaker and educational lecturer for training organizations for physicians interested in aesthetic medicine.
