Deborah Riczo PT, DPT, MEd

Deborah Riczo, PT, DPT, M.Ed., is a physical therapist with more than 30 years of clinical experience, primarily at MetroHealth Medical Center in Cleveland, Ohio. She has also served as adjunct faculty in the Doctor of Physical Therapy program at Cleveland State University and has been a guest speaker on various topics since 1990.

Deborah is the owner of Riczo Health Education, where she focuses on developing and providing continuing education courses, delivering educational presentations to healthcare professionals and consumers, and providing private consultations. During her time at MetroHealth, she played a key role in establishing an interdisciplinary team to promote rehabilitation referrals for individuals with breast cancer.

Since 2012, Deborah has developed and taught a seven-hour continuing education course, “Breast Cancer Rehabilitation: What the General Therapist Needs to Know,” designed to equip therapists with foundational knowledge to better support patients affected by breast cancer. She has also presented on breast cancer rehabilitation at the Ohio Annual Conference and at the district level in Ohio.
