Dr. Deborah B. Riczo, PT, DPT, MEd, is a physical therapist, educator, author, and recognized expert in sacroiliac and pelvic girdle dysfunction. With more than three decades of clinical experience, including 30 years at MetroHealth Medical Center in Cleveland, Ohio, she has dedicated her career to improving the evaluation and treatment of pelvic girdle pain, pregnancy-related musculoskeletal conditions, and women's health concerns.

Dr. Riczo is the developer of the Pelvic Girdle Musculoskeletal Method™ (PGM Method™), an evidence-informed, step-by-step approach to assessing and treating sacroiliac and pelvic girdle pain. Since 2011, she has taught the PGM Method to physical therapists, physical therapist assistants, and doctoral students through continuing education courses, university programs, and presentations at state, national, and international conferences.

An accomplished author, Dr. Riczo has written Sacroiliac Pain and Back and Pelvic Girdle Pain in Pregnancy and Postpartum, helping both clinicians and patients better understand and manage pelvic girdle dysfunction. She has also published professional articles on sacroiliac dysfunction and remains committed to advancing pelvic health education through research, teaching, and public outreach.

Dr. Riczo earned her Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy and Master of Education from Cleveland State University and later completed her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree at Marymount University. She is the founder of Riczo Health Education, where she provides continuing education, guest lectures, consumer health education, and virtual consultations. Her areas of expertise include pelvic girdle pain, sacroiliac dysfunction, pregnancy and postpartum care, pelvic pain, urinary incontinence, and breast cancer rehabilitation.
