Dean Marko Wingerchuk MD, MSc, FRCP(C)

Dean Marko Wingerchuk, MD, MSc, FRCP(C), is Professor and Chair of the Department of Neurology at Mayo Clinic in Phoenix/Scottsdale, AZ. He received his medical degree from the University of Saskatchewan in Saskatoon, Canada. Dr. Wingerchuk completed his residency in neurology and fellowship in clinical neuroimmunology at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN. He also completed an additional fellowship in MS at the University of Western Ontario in London, Canada, and a master's degree in clinical epidemiology and health research methodology at McMaster University in Hamilton, Canada. His clinical and research interests include MS, neuromyelitis optica, and related disorders.

Dr. Wingerchuk also co-directs the Mayo Clinic's MERIT Center, a multidisciplinary evidence-based clinical practice education and research program. He is the co-Editor-in-Chief of The Neurologist.
