Dr. David Eisele is the Andelot Professor and Director of the Johns Hopkins Department of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery and Professor of Oncology at the Johns Hopkins Comprehensive Cancer Center. Dr. Eisele specializes in surgery for malignant and benign tumors of the head and neck, with special interest in salivary gland neoplasms and disorders, including sialendoscopy and other minimally invasive approaches, oral cavity cancers, and oropharyngeal cancers.

Dr. Eisele joined Johns Hopkins after having served as Chairman of the Department of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery at the University of California, San Francisco, where he was the Irwin Mark Jacobs and Joan Klein Jacobs Endowed Chair in Head and Neck Cancer and directed the Head and Neck Oncology Program at the UCSF Comprehensive Cancer Center. Dr. Eisele was previously at Johns Hopkins from 1988 to 2001. Dr. Eisele is Past President of the American Head and Neck Society, a member of the NCCN Head and Neck Cancer Panel, and co-Chair of the NCI Task Force on Rare Tumors. He is a Director of the American Board of Otolaryngology.
