Dr. David B. Seifer, MD, is a nationally recognized reproductive endocrinologist and infertility specialist at Yale School of Medicine and Yale Fertility Center. As Professor of Obstetrics, Gynecology & Reproductive Sciences and Fellowship Director for Reproductive Endocrinology & Infertility, he combines exceptional clinical expertise with decades of pioneering research to help individuals and couples build families through compassionate, personalized fertility care. His clinical interests include age-related infertility, in vitro fertilization (IVF), fertility preservation, recurrent pregnancy loss, male factor infertility, polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), and preimplantation genetic testing.

Dr. Seifer earned his Doctor of Medicine from the University of Illinois Chicago College of Medicine in 1981 and completed a fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at Yale School of Medicine in 1991. He is board certified in both Obstetrics & Gynecology and Reproductive Endocrinology & Infertility by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Throughout his distinguished career, he has served as President of the Society for Assisted Reproductive Technology (SART), mentored future reproductive endocrinologists, and authored more than 200 peer-reviewed publications that have advanced the field of reproductive medicine.
