Dr. David Feller-Kopman is a Professor of Medicine at the Geisel School of Medicine. His areas of clinical expertise include bronchoscopy, critical care medicine, and interventional pulmonology. He earned his M.D. from the George Washington University School of Medicine. He completed his residency at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center and performed a combined fellowship in pulmonary and critical care medicine at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center.

Dr. Feller-Kopman's research interests include pleural pathophysiology, including the treatment of recurrent pleural effusions; investigating the physiology and pathophysiology of the non-malignant central airway obstruction; and improving the multidisciplinary treatment of patients with complex airway disease. He is a past president of the American Association for Bronchology and Interventional Pulmonology. He has been recognized with Geoffrey McLennan Memorial Award for Advances in Interventional Pulmonology by the American Association for Bronchology and Interventional Pulmonology and received the Pasquale Ciaglia Award from the American College of Chest Physicians.
