David H. Barad MD, MS, FACOG

Dr. David H. Barad serves as Clinical Director of the ART Program at the Center for Human Reproduction, where he provides strategic leadership for clinical practice, outcomes analysis, and research integration. He is internationally recognized for his contributions to reproductive endocrinology and large-scale outcomes research. He completed his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at NewYork-Presbyterian/Columbia University and his fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Harvard Medical School.

Over decades, Dr. Barad has been a leading figure in the analysis and interpretation of reproductive health outcomes, including serving as a co-investigator in the Women’s Health Initiative. His scholarship spans ovarian aging, diminished ovarian reserve, reproductive immunology, and IVF outcomes, with particular emphasis on rigorous biostatistical evaluation and critical appraisal of reproductive technologies. Central to his work is a commitment to personalized, patient-centered fertility care, integrating data-driven insights with individualized clinical decision-making to optimize outcomes for women with reduced reproductive potential.
