David C. Leopold MD, DABFM, DABOIM, DiplABLM

David C. Leopold, MD, is the Immediate Past Network Medical Director for Hackensack Meridian Health, Integrative Health & Medicine. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Family Medicine, the American Board of Integrative Medicine, and the American Board of Lifestyle Medicine.
Dr. Leopold serves as an Assistant Professor at the Hackensack Meridian School of Medicine, where he is the Co-Director of the Nutrition, Metabolism & Digestion course. He also serves on the Leadership Team for the Human Dimension curriculum, focused on student and community health and well-being.
He completed his medical residency at the University of Southern California and Board Certification in Family Medicine. He then completed a Fellowship in Integrative Medicine and Integrative Pain Management at Scripps Center for Integrative Medicine. 
He was among the first recipients of the Bravewell Scholarship for Integrative Medicine and completed a two-year Fellowship at the University of Arizona Program in Integrative Medicine under the guidance of Dr. Andrew Weil. He has been a physician acupuncturist for over 19 years.
In February 2016, Dr. Leopold completed Duke University’s Leadership Program in Integrative Healthcare. He believes in utilizing patient-centered care and empowering his patients to achieve optimal health, functionality, and quality of life irrespective of the underlying condition.
