Darren P. Berman MD

Darren P. Berman, MD is co-Director of Cardiac Catheterization and Interventional Therapy in The Heart Center at Nationwide Children’s Hospital and an Assistant Professor at The Ohio State University College of Medicine. He received his medical degree from Rosalind Franklin University of Health Sciences/The Chicago Medical School and completed his pediatric residency and pediatric cardiology fellowship at the University of Southern California/Children’s Hospital Los Angeles.

Dr. Berman continued his training with completion of an interventional pediatric and structural cardiac catheterization advanced fellowship at Miami Children’s Hospital. His clinical interests include catheterization and catheter-based therapies; and his research interests include transcatheter valve therapies and bioabsorbable materials. Dr. Berman is board certified in both pediatrics and pediatric cardiology.
