Cristina is a primary care nurse practitioner with over a decade of experience working with complex, marginalized populations with multiple co-morbidities and high rates of addiction and mental health concerns. She completed her bachelor of nursing degree at the University of Calgary and her Master of Nursing degree and diploma in Nurse Practitioner Studies at Dalhousie University, Halifax, Nova Scotia. She works at The Addiction Centre at the Foothills Medical Centre where she has developed a novel NP role addressing the health concerns of both adolescent and adult patients with concurrent disorders. She also works at the CUPS Health Centre as a primary care provider for homeless and low income individuals.
