Cristina Donini PharmD, PhD

Cristina joined MMV in 2012. Before that, she worked in the pharmaceutical industry, in different roles with increasing responsibilities, starting at GSK, followed by Serono, and MerckSerono. In her last position at Merck Serono, She led the Analytics and Pharmaceutical Chemistry group in Discovery with global responsibility for Physical Properties Assessment of discovery projects prior to Candidate Selection. During that time, she managed and developed a team of scientists, students, and research associates. She have a PharmD from the Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Parma, Italy, and a doctorate in Pharmaceutical Technology from the University of Parma, in joint collaboration with Purdue University, West Lafayette, IN, USA on Drug delivery systems for insulin oral administration.
