Craig Thornhill is currently working as a Program Director, Licensed Counselor at Thornhill Counseling. Craig Thornhill provides substance abuse-specific counseling services in the Routt and Moffat County jails. He has been in the field of mental health and addiction counseling since 2004. He has a background in adolescent residential treatment, as well as adult individual, group, and family therapy in community mental health. Craig is the former Program Director/Clinical Supervisor of a community mental health center in NW Colorado (Mind Springs Health-Moffat county, 2012-2019). He also ran an at-risk adolescent Day Treatment Alternative program in Routt County (2007-2012).
Craig currently provides individual adult and adolescent mental health and addiction counseling. His primary modalities include a strength-based and person-centered approach that utilizes MI (Motivational Interviewing), CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), and Psychodynamic and Systems approach to helping clients and their families obtain their goals.
