Columbine Mullins MBBS, BMedSc, FRACGP

Dr. Columbine Mullins (Collie) is a GP. She owns and runs three medical practices in Hobart. As such, she is very aware of the pressures many doctors face running businesses as well as providing ongoing care. She is committed to supporting a safe, healthy workplace and is motivated to try to do all she can to improve the health and wellbeing of doctors in Australia.

In 2018 Collie was awarded the Royal Australian College of General Practitioner’s Tasmanian GP of the Year. Collie co-leads a Balint group in Hobart which meets monthly to provide collegial support, reduce the likelihood of burnout amongst doctors, as well as improve doctor-patient connection.

Collie has other interests in the health sphere. She is an advocate for equitable access to health care and oversees a mobile health clinic for vulnerable members of her local community in Southern Tasmania.
