Claudio Cerchione MD, PhD

Claudio Cerchione graduated in medicine with honors from the Medical School at the University Federico II of Naples, Italy (July 2008). During his Fellowship and PhD studies, Dr. Cerchione carried out research under my supervision in the Division of Hematology at the University Federico II of Naples, Italy, from July 2009 until now: he studied in detail Hematological malignancies, and his main research interests are relapsed and refractory multiple myeloma and myelodysplastic syndromes. He started his collaboration in the Hematology Department, AOU Federico II, Naples, Italy, in 2006, and there he completed with honors his Fellowship in July 2014 and is now attending the last year of his PhD program. He also has spent one year at Friedrich-Wilhelms university, Bonn, Germany collaborating in their Hematology Department, and one month at Universidade de Coimbra, Portugal, collaborating in their clinical and research projects. He is co-responsible for MGUS and Multiple Myeloma in our clinical and research division and for clinical trials in Multiple Myeloma.
