Claes Brodin MD

Claes Brodin is a Senior Consultant Surgeon at the NHS National Services Scotland. He was Specialized in the Surgery. In 1999 he took a position as a consultant surgeon in the section for emergency and trauma surgery at Vasteras Hospital, being responsible for trauma surgery. Between Sept 2000 and Dec 2014, he held a position as Senior Consultant Surgeon at Nykoping Hospital. He was head of the section for colorectal surgery, responsible for emergency and trauma surgery, and until 2009 head of the hospital's endoscopy unit. In August 2005 he was certified as an accredited colorectal surgeon by the Society of colon and rectal surgeons Swedish Surgical Society. His workload last 14 years has mainly consisted of colorectal cancer surgery and emergency surgery, with results in cancer surgery consistent with or superior to average results from RCC( Swedish quality register). Since Dec 2014 he work as a senior consultant surgeon for his own company.
