Clarence John Chuck Biddle PhD, CRNA

Clarence John Chuck Biddle, Ph.D., CRNA is a Full Professor and oversees the research efforts of the Department. His undergraduate degree was earned at the University of Southern Colorado and his anesthesia education and Master's Degree earned at Old Dominion University. His doctorate, in epidemiology, was earned at the University of Missouri. Chuck is a clinician at VCU Medical Center. His major research interests focus on the broad domain of patient safety. He has served, continuously, as Editor-in-Chief of the AANA Journal for 25 years. His outside interests include a love of the outdoors, art museums and tennis.
