Chrys Pulle is Director of Dementia Clinical Trials at Prince Charles Hospital and chair of Dementia Trials Australia. Dr. Pulle's inpatient work is in the management of orthogeriatric patients in the Hip Fracture unit since its establishment in 2010. The unit is a multi-disciplinary shared model of care between Orthopaedic Surgery and Geriatric Medicine and admits all patients with this diagnosis and pelvic fractures from the Metro North Hospital and Health Service in Brisbane. The internationally acclaimed unit is renowned for research in optimizing nutrition in frail elderly acute hip-fracture patients.
