Christopher E. Laxton CAE

Christopher E Laxton, CAE, is the Executive Director of AMDA - The Society for Post-Acute and Long-Term Care Medicine. Chris is a career health care association professional with decades of experience in nonprofit leadership, governance, and operations. He serves as Chair of the Board of Directors of the Advancing Excellence in Long-Term Care Coalition (AELTCC) and as board treasurer of the Center for Excellence in Assisted Living. Chris represents AMDA on several national coalitions including the Leadership Council of Aging Organizations and the Dementia Friendly America National Council.
