Christine M. Chmielewski MS, CRNP, CNN-CNP, APRN-BC

Christine Chmielewski is a Nephrology Nurse Practitioner with Edward Filippone, MD, PC and Associates in Philadelphia, PA. She received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing from Wilkes College and a Master of Science Degree, with a focus on renal nursing, from Boston University. She earned a Post-Master's Certificate as an Adult Nurse Practitioner from Temple University.

She has worked in Nephrology Nursing for more than 25 years. She has clinical experience in the areas of multi-organ transplantation, dialytic therapies, continuous renal replacement therapies, conservative management, and care of the CKD patient. In her current position as an Advanced Practice Nurse, she provides care to nephrology patients in a variety of settings. As an educator, she has served as adjunct faculty at Holy Family University. She is actively involved in continuing education and is a frequent presenter at local, regional, and national programs. She has authored book reviews, case studies, articles, and book chapters and has served as a manuscript reviewer for the Nephrology Nursing Journal.
