Charisse Kwan MD, FRCPC, RCPSC (PEM

Dr. Charisse Kwan is a paediatric emergency care specialist at the Children's Hospital (LHSC). Dr. Kwan completed medical school at McMaster University, followed by paediatric residency at Queen's University, paediatric emergency medicine fellowship at SickKids Hospital, Toronto. Subsequently, she was one of the 1st Pediatric Point of Care Ultrasound Fellows in Canada at SickKids Hospital. 

Dr. Kwan worked as an attending physician and Associate Professor at SickKids for several years, and also as the Director of the Point of Care Ultrasound (POCUS) Program for the Paediatric Emergency Department and the Program Director for the PEM POCUS Fellowship. Since moving to London, Ontario, Dr. Kwan has been leading the POCUS initiative within the Children's Hospital. She currently serves as the Director of the POCUS Program for the Paediatric Emergency Department and the program director for the PEM POCUS Fellowship.
