Cathy Street

Dr. Cathy Street works as an independent mental health researcher and consultant. Over the last 15 years, she has held senior positions in a number of the UK's national mental health charities where she has undertaken studies looking at how to improve services for children and young people with complex needs. Cathy is well known in the UK for her work on new models of inpatient mental health care and on promoting the participation of children and young people in service development, supporting them to ensure that their perspectives inform national guidance and policy about mental health care.
