9th national conference Treating Schizophrenia 2015

Treating Schizophrenia 2015 will provide participants with:

• Gain an understanding of the current issues, latest research and practical management of schizophrenia

• Assess ways of helping patients deal with the stigma of a schizophrenia diagnosis and helping carers of those with psychosis

• Keep up to date with pharmacotherapy strategies including treatment resistance schizophrenia, first-episode schizophrenia and maintenance treatments

• Be updated in non-pharmacological treatment therapies

• Hear about the physical side effects and metabolic consequences of antipsychotic medication

• Evaluate services, crisis management in the community and ways of optimising the way patients transition between services
