Carlie Nikel BS, MA, PsyD

Carlie Nikel, PsyD grew up in the Kansas City area and received her Doctorate of Psychology in Clinical Psychology from Forest Institute in Springfield, Missouri in 2014. Dr. Nikel joined the Department of Community and Family Medicine on April 18, 2016. Dr. Nikel provides integrated behavioral health services in the Bess Truman Family Medicine Center. She consults with the residents in order to provide the patients with increased access to behavioral medicine. Dr. Nikel enjoys working with patients to manage chronic diseases and make positive lifestyle changes in addition to educating residents on behavioral interventions.
