Cari Miller, MSM, PCMH CCE, has developed and directed healthcare projects for more than 20 years. She has worked with more than 1500 physicians in more than 1000 locations locally, regionally and nationally, on Patient-Centered Medical Home (PCMH) recognition and transformation projects. Clients throughout the country include practices, integrated healthcare systems, hospitals, insurers, federally-qualified health centers, residency programs, and others. She provides education and assistance to foster practice transformation to meet value-based payment program requirements, as well as provides guidance and assessment to assist with PCMH recognition. Ms. Miller presents locally and nationally on PCMH and practice transformation topics.
Ms. Miller has implemented projects with national scope, including serving as Regional Faculty Director, implementing the Comprehensive Primary Care Initiative for the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services in NJ. She has extensive experience in quality improvement, serving as Director with the NJ Medicare quality improvement organization for 10 years. Her early tenure includes responsibilities for an integrated care delivery system.
Ms. Miller has a Masters in the Science of Management with a focus on organizational management. She achieved the designation of PCMH Certified Content Expert from NCQA, and served on NCQA’s Expert Panel to develop the Certified Content Expert Exam.
