Dr. Bruce Andrew Koplan is a cardiovascular medicine specialist at Brigham and Women’s Hospital (BWH). He is also an assistant professor of medicine at Harvard Medical School (HMS).
Dr. Koplan received his medical degree from the University of Virginia School of Medicine. He then completed a residency in internal medicine at Emory University Hospital and fellowships in cardiovascular disease and cardiac electrophysiology at BWH. Dr. Koplan is board certified in internal medicine, cardiovascular disease and cardiac electrophysiology.
The author of over 50 peer-reviewed publications, Dr. Koplan’s research focuses on the treatment of complex cardiac arrhythmia. This includes research on outcomes and quality of care with regard to arrhythmia management, catheter ablation and implantable cardiac rhythm devices.
