Dr. Bradley R. Davis is the Chief of the Division of General Surgery, Section Chief for Colon and Rectal Surgery, Professor and Vice-Chair Surgery - Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte, NC. His responsibilities include building and leading the colon and rectal surgery program with the Charlotte Health system. Previously he served as Vice-Chair, Surgical Education in the Department of Surgery at the University of Cincinnati.

He completed his General Surgery Residency at the University of Cincinnati in June of 2001 and was the recipient of the Max Zinninger Award given to the Department’s top graduate. After completing a fellowship in Surgical Critical Care, he entered the Air Force. During his three years on active duty, Dr. Davis was the Medical Director for the Center for Sustainment of Trauma and Readiness Skills in Cincinnati, Ohio. He was the recipient of the Curtis Lemay Award and the Meritorious Service Award for his contributions to the Air Force Medical Corps. Dr. Davis completed his colon and rectal fellowship at the Lahey Clinic, in Boston Massachusetts in 2005. He was raised in Rochester, NY and earned a Bachelor of Science Degree with Honors, from The Johns Hopkins University.
