Brach Poston, PhD, did his graduate training at the University of Colorado-Boulder and received a PhD in integrative physiology in 2006. After graduation, he received postdoctoral training at Arizona State University and the National Institutes of Health. He is currently a project scientist in the Department of Biomedical Engineering at the Cleveland Clinic Lou Ruvo Center for Brain Health in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Dr. Poston’s research focuses on the use of non-invasive brain stimulation methods to study and improve motor function in patients with Parkinson’s disease. Specifically, this research is aimed at determining the optimal transcranial direct current stimulation parameters to acutely increase motor performance in Parkinson’s disease patients. The results of these studies should provide important information for the design of long-term clinical studies.
