Bernhard Foger

Foeger was active in the fields of environmental protection, nature conservation, and agriculture. Since 1998 he has held a leading position in the Austrian Agricultural Administration (AMA) for 10 years and since 2009 he has been employed in the Austrian Agency for Health and Food Safety. From 2012 he is heading the Institute for Sustainable Plant Production and is Deputy Head of the Food Security Business Unit. In this position, he is responsible for the Austrian production of medicinal cannabis.
