Associate Professor Bernard CHERN is the Chairman of Division of Obstetrics and Gynaecology in KK Women’s & Children’s Hospital. He is also the Head and Senior Consultant of both the Department of O&G and the Minimally Invasive Surgery Unit of the hospital. A/Professor Chern graduated from medical School at National University of Singapore (NUS) in 1987. He obtained his specialist degrees from Royal College of Obstetrician & Gynaecologist in London, Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetrics & Gynaecology, and also Masters of Medicine from NUS, Singapore in 1994. He was subsequently admitted as a Fellow to the Academy of Medicine, Singapore in 2004. In 1996, A/Professor Chern was awarded the HMDP MIS Fellowship with Professor Chris Sutton in the United Kingdom and with Dr C.Y. Liu at Chattanooga, Tennessee, USA.
