Barun K. De PhD, NRCC, DABCC, FACB

Professor Barun received a PhD from the University of Maryland, USA. Completed two postdoctoral studies at Cornell and Vanderbilt University. Dr. De is currently the Chief of Clinical Chemistry and Point of Care divisions at Banner University Medical Center, Arizona. He is a professor at the University of Arizona and published more than 69 articles and meeting abstracts. Received research grants from national and local agencies. The reviewer of national and international journals. Honored with Paul Finley Chemist award from the University of Arizona Health Sciences Center. Served in the American Board of Clinical Chemistry, Toxicology and Molecular Pathology. He was elected to be the chair of the nominating committee of this board in 2016. Professor De is currently the president of the Rocky Mountain Division, American Association of Clinical Chemistry (AACC).
