Barbara Alicja Jereczek-fossa MD, PhD

Dr. Barbara Jereczek is a Professor of Radiation Oncology at the University of Milan. She completed a medical degree and Ph.D. from the University of Gdansk and then went on to specialize in Radiation Oncology at the University. She joined the IEO in 1997 and her main research interests have focused on the following topics: urological malignancies, head and neck cancers, new fractionation protocols, new radiotherapy approaches (stereotactic radiotherapy, IMRT, IGRT etc.), treatment accuracy, side effects and patient’s quality of life, combined modality approach (including organ preservation studies) and new prognostic and predictive factors.
