Ayodeji Adegunsoye MD, MSc, PhD, FACP, FCCP

Dr. Ayodeji Adegunsoye is a Professor of Medicine at the University of Chicago. A dedicated pulmonologist with a doctoral degree in Genetics, Genomics, and Systems Biology, he has a strong interest in prognostic modeling, the genetics of pulmonary fibrosis, and addressing health care disparities.

His research focuses on clinical prediction models and translational approaches to improve survival, prevent decline in lung function, and enhance risk prediction in interstitial lung disease. By leveraging genetic data from diverse racial groups and applying advanced statistical techniques, he has identified practical strategies to optimize pharmacotherapy and improve clinical decision-making in fibrotic lung disease.
