Ashley H. Tapscott DO

Dr. Ashley Tapscott is an established expert in the field of sexual dysfunction. She is a board-certified urologist and fellowship-trained in male and female sexual dysfunction. Along with her work in general urology, Dr. Tapscott’s subspecialty interests have been nationally recognized at many urologic and sexual medicine society meetings. She is also an active educator. She frequently hosts patient education seminars and lectures to urologists and primary care physicians concerning the treatment of erectile dysfunction, Peyronie’s disease, and other sexual and urologic conditions.

Dr. Tapscott graduated from Virginia College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2007. She completed her internship in Philadelphia and a urology residency at Albert Einstein Medical Center. Dr. Tapscott then pursued additional subspecialty training by completing a fellowship in male and female sexual dysfunction, urologic prosthetics, and infertility at Cleveland Clinic. She joined Carolina Urology Partners, Lake Norman division, in 2013.

She currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Sexual Medicine Society of North America. She is also an active member of The American Urological Association, the American Society of Women in Urology, and the International Society for the Study of Women’s Sexual Health.
