Ashley Wen Chen, PharmD, BCOP, is a board-certified oncology pharmacist specializing in hematology and oncology pharmacy practice. She earned her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from St. Louis College of Pharmacy in 2018, followed by postgraduate pharmacy training that included a PGY1 residency at CHI Franciscan St. Joseph Medical Center and a PGY2 Oncology Pharmacy residency at UNC Medical Center.

Ashley Chen has built her clinical career within academic cancer care, with experience at Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center and UW Medicine. Her professional interests include hematologic malignancies, multiple myeloma, acute myeloid leukemia, oral anticancer therapies, immunotherapy, and optimization of medication management. She has contributed to initiatives that expand the role of oncology pharmacists in prescribing and monitoring oral anticancer medications, including immunomodulatory drugs used in multiple myeloma.

An active contributor to oncology pharmacy education and research, Ashley has authored and co-authored publications examining topics such as FLT3-mutated acute myeloid leukemia, oncology biosimilars, cancer drug waste, oral oncology therapies, and emerging bispecific T-cell engager therapies in multiple myeloma. She has also participated as an educator and speaker in professional oncology pharmacy programs.

Ashley Chen is committed to advancing evidence-based cancer pharmacotherapy, improving medication safety and access, and strengthening the role of pharmacists within multidisciplinary oncology care. She is also involved with the Hematology/Oncology Pharmacy Association and has contributed to initiatives focused on diversity, equity, inclusion, and representation within the oncology pharmacy profession.
