Dr. Arielle Kanters is a colorectal surgeon at the Cleveland Clinic. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Systems Biology and Bachelor of Arts degree in Spanish from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio. She then completed her medical degree at Case Western Reserve University while also earning a Master's in Science in Applied Anatomy. She received her General Surgery training at the University of Michigan and completed a Colorectal Surgery fellowship at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation. She is board-certified by the American Board of Surgery and the American Board of Colon and Rectal Surgery.

Kanter's research interests include identifying barriers to the delivery of high-quality care in colon and rectal surgery. She has published peer-reviewed articles on colorectal surgery and serves as a reviewer for journals. She also serves as the Associate Program Director for the Colorectal Surgery Fellowship.
