Aparna H. Kesarwala, MD, Ph.D., joined the Department of Radiation Oncology at Emory University School of Medicine in September 2019 as Assistant Professor. Prior to joining Emory, Dr. Kesarwala was Assistant Research Physician at the National Cancer Institute. As a radiation oncologist, Dr. Kesarwala treats patients with thoracic malignancies at Emory University Hospital Midtown.
Dr. Kesarwala received an AB degree in chemistry summa cum laude from Princeton University. She earned her MD and her Ph.D. in Molecular Cell Biology from Washington University School of Medicine. She completed an internship at Yale-New Haven Hospital and a radiation oncology residency at the National Cancer Institute/National Capital Consortium.
