Antonio Gargiulo MD

Dr. Antonio Gargiulo is a board-certified physician specializing in Obstetrics & Gynecology and Reproductive Endocrinology & Infertility with over three decades of experience in advanced reproductive medicine and surgery. He currently serves as the Medical Director of Advanced Reproductive Surgery at Fertility Centers of New England, a part of First Fertility, where he leads programs in minimally invasive and robotic-assisted reproductive surgery across multiple sites in Massachusetts and New Hampshire.

Dr. Gargiulo’s clinical and academic career is distinguished by his pioneering role in robot-assisted reproductive surgery, particularly in procedures addressing complex uterine fibroids, endometriosis, and fertility preservation. He has been instrumental in developing new surgical techniques and has performed thousands of procedures that integrate cutting-edge technology with personalized patient care.

Before joining Fertility Centers of New England, Dr. Gargiulo was the founding medical director of the Robotic Surgery Program at Brigham Health and led the Surgical Scholar Track at Brigham and Women’s Hospital. He also served as Medical Director of the Center for Reproductive Care at Exeter Hospital (NH). For almost three decades, he was a full-time faculty member in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at Harvard Medical School and held leadership roles in some of the nation’s premier reproductive medicine programs.

A graduate of the University of Naples Federico II (Italy), Dr. Gargiulo completed his residency in Obstetrics & Gynecology at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston and his fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at Brigham and Women’s Hospital (Harvard Medical School). Fluent in multiple languages, he brings a multicultural perspective to patient care and has long been recognized for his technical innovation, clinical excellence, and compassionate approach.
