Antonia Rich is an Associate Professor in Medical Education in the Research Department of Medical Education (RDME) at UCL Medical School. She is involved in research on a variety of topics including doctors’ and medical students’ well-being, evaluation of medical education and training programs, attrition in post-graduate medical training, and differential attainment.
She qualified as a Health Psychologist in 2009 and worked for several years in Public Health within the NHS, on a number of health promotion priorities including childhood obesity, sexual health, and smoking cessation. She then moved to Australia, where she worked at the Sax Institute, a not-for-profit organization that promotes the use of research evidence in health policy. She subsequently worked for Atlantis Healthcare Australia developing health behavior change interventions.
She is a joint Admission Tutor for Post-Graduate Research within RDME and She is a member of the Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion Committee at UCL Medical School
