Antonello (tony) Punturieri MD, PhD

Antonello (Tony) Punturieri, MD, Ph.D., is a Health Science Administrator in the Division of Lung Diseases (DLD), NHLBI, NIH. Tony participates in the development of programs that aim at the pathophysiological understanding, prevention, and design of therapeutic avenues for Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD). In this capacity, Tony administers a varied portfolio of grants, covering from basic research to clinical research networks and contracts in the area of COPD and the environment.
