Anne Monroe MHA

Ms. Monroe is the Executive Director of Palliative Care/Physician Practice Manager at Bluegrass Care Navigators. She has worked in physician practice management for 25 years. She completed her Master in Health Administration at the University of Kentucky. Ms. Monroe is responsible for program planning, budgeting, system and data analysis, regulatory compliance, operations and other physician practice management responsibilities for the Bluegrass Care Navigators practice of 14 physicians and 14 nurse practitioners. She has presented numerous times at NHPCO and the Center to Advance Palliative Care (CAPC) national conferences, as well as other regional conferences. Ms. Monroe is currently faculty of the CAPC Virtual Office Hours on Community Based Palliative Care Billing and Coding and Hospices Providing Community Based Palliative Care. She received the Distinguished Leader Award in 2016 by the Kentucky Association Hospice and Palliative Care Organization. In addition, Ms. Monroe is the University of Kentucky Hospice and Palliative Medicine Fellowship Coordinator.
