Biography :

Dr. Anil Kumar Anal, Associate Professor and Head, Department of Food, Agriculture and Bioresources, School of Environment, Resources and Development (SERD) of AIT was invited as Guest Lecturer on the topic “Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR) in Food Chain Systems: An Emerging Threat and Research Needs Towards Alternatives for Sustainability” on 6 July 2017 at the Kathmandu University, Dhulikhel, Nepal. Dr. Anil was invited to provide his insight on the emerging issues and concerns in the roles of chemical residues including antibacterial compounds and the possible ways to overcome by biological ways. During this visit, Dr. Anil met the Head, other Senior Administrative staffs and faculty colleagues of School of Sciences, Kathmandu University and discussed for academic, research, student exchange, capacity building and outreach collaborations. Dr. Anil also briefed about the overall academic and research activities at AIT.
