Andrew Latham

Andrew joined Capsticks as a trainee in 2010. Having gained experience across the firm’s practice areas, he qualified into the clinical law department and is a member of the Public Law team. Andrew advises on a range of public law, healthcare regulatory, and litigation risk issues, including responsible commissioner disputes within the NHS, Court of Protection applications, and matters relating to the Mental Health Act 1983.
As well as managing his own caseload, Andrew assists partners on a range of larger projects and judicial reviews, as well as providing specialist healthcare and information law input into Capsticks’ clients’ commercial deals, employment issues, and disputes. In addition, Andrew provides advice to emergency services clients.
Andrew provides his clients with prompt, highly practical, pragmatic advice in densely legislated, policy-rich areas of their work, including in relation to public consultation and the duties of public bodies under the Equality Act 2010.
