Andrew G. Sikora MD, PhD

Dr. Andrew Sikora is the vice chair for research and co-director of the Head and Neck Cancer Program at the Baylor College of Medicine. He has led several clinical trials, some of which seek to understand how standard cancer therapies influence anti-tumor immune responses, while others test novel immunotherapies for patients with head and neck cancer. His research focuses on HPV-related head and neck cancer, as well as how tumors can suppress the immune system, so that it can be reversed to aid tumor elimination. Dr. Sikora is a member of CRI’s Clinical Leadership Committee.
