Amr K. El Jack is an assistant professor of clinical radiology in the Abdominal Imaging Division at the University of Pennsylvania. He earned his MD and his PhD in Biochemistry at Boston University. He then completed a residency in diagnostic radiology and a fellowship in body MRI at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. He then joined a private practice in the Philadelphia area where he practiced general radiology for 11 years, with an emphasis on abdominal, cardiothoracic, neurological, and musculoskeletal cross-sectional imaging.
Dr. El Jack’s interest in education led him back to academia and the University of Pennsylvania where he joined the Abdominal Imaging division faculty in 2018. He practices gastrointestinal and genitourinary radiology, utilizing all imaging modalities, but with a special affinity for MRI. He is actively involved with and enjoys teaching medical students, residents, and fellows.
